Local support for Surrey coaches

In October 2016, a survey was sent out to coaches in Surrey to try and ascertain how our coaches rated the support from the County Association currently, and how coaches could be supported going forward. A key point that became clear was that there is a demand for local support right across Surrey.

With that in mind, Surrey Coaches has been established, with the support of the County Association. This group will aim to provide a wide range of benefits that support our coaches and strengthen their link with the County.

For our existing members, make sure to look out for communications when this has been finalised. For those who are currently not members, but would be interested in attending, this is a great opportunity to sign up and become a valued member of a local coaches group. Any questions get in touch -

RECENT EVENT: Launch CPD Event at AELTC Community Sports Ground

Summary: The Surrey Coaches group are launched on Friday 10th February at the All England Community Sports Ground with Dan and Lizzie Bloxham running a ‘Dynamic Activities for coaches when working with large numbers in small spaces’ CPD followed by a tour of the All England Club. It was a great day, with over 45 coaches in attendance. The feedback was very positive and coaches left with lots of ideas to take back to their coaching programmes, as well as for their own coaching.
